Many people have been anticipating the grand opening of the OCC bakery. It is run by the culinary arts students of OCC. The bakery offers a wide variety of pastries such as mint chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip walnut cookies, many pies, muffins, sticky buns, and cakes. The bakery will be open from 11 am until 1 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The word around campus is that their baked goods are delicious and are enjoyed by both OCC and OEC students. Cammeron Neely, second year OEC student, stated “Those were some of the best cookies I've had in a long time.” Apparently they are doing a pretty good job. So if you are looking for a sweet treat to eat, you should find your way to the bakery at the top floor of the J building.
